PUNK & OI IN THE UK: How to Shop Guide

Definition

All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with the terms and conditions policy, please read the policy before using the website or placing an order.

Please note that all orders for goods and services must have a total equal to or above the value of £5.

Finding Products

Once within the shop part of the Punk & Oi In The UK website, there are a couple of ways of finding products:

1. Select the category and where applicable the sub-category you are interested
   
   
2. Click on the *‘Product Search >>’ link and enter the criteria

Product Search

You can search for products by keyword, category or subcategory.

You will be presented with a list of the categories where you can select one or more or enter up to 10 keywords separated by commas.

You have the option of choosing a way to sort the search fields by Name or Description in either descending or ascending order.

It is possible to enter a Lowest and Highest figure in your price range (please exclude the currency symbol. We use ‘.’ without the quotations as the decimal place)

Product Display

All goods and services supplied directly by Punk & Oi In The UK are in GBP (£). Where possible both metric and imperil measurements will be included. We have made every effort to reproduce colours on the website as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours slightly differently and we therefore cannot and do not guarantee that the on-screen colours of any of our products will exactly match the colour of the product itself. You are advised, therefore, to treat on-screen colours as being indicative only of the actual colour of our products.

In most cases a picture will be supplied of the product along with a description. If you require further information to what is supplied, please contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions.

You may also find there are reviews of the product. This will be indicated by either a comment of ‘no reviews’ under the picture, or by a visual rating of stars. There is a link to any reviews to the right of the product. If you have direct experience of the product you are then encouraged to write a review by clicking on ‘write review’, which again is a link on the right hand side of the screen next to the product. Reviews are checked before being displayed on the website.

Other options on the to the right of products on the Products webpage are ‘Tell A Friend’ and ‘Add To Wish List’.

The ‘Tell A Friend’ link takes you to a page where you can fill in a friends’ name and email, along with your name and email and the details of the product will the be sent to them. ‘Tell A Friend’ can also be used to inform people about the Punk & Oi In The UK website in general as well as individual products.

‘ Add To Wish List’ allows you to flag up and save that you may be interested in the particular item. You can view items in your Wish List by selecting ‘WishList Products’ option found under the 'My Account' option. Products are stored in your Wish List for a maximum of 180 days.

Adding To The Shopping Cart

1. Select any available options such as size and colour. (if you are presented with any options, a value must be selected and must not be left on the default of ‘select’).
   
   
2. In the box next to the product labelled ‘Quantity’, enter the amount of items of this product you wish to order.
   
   In most circumstances, if your order exceeds the amount in stock you will be informed of this at when you click ‘Order Selected Products. If there are no items left in stock you will not be able to order this product at this moment in time – but please let us know your interest and we will endeavour to keep you informed of when it is likely to be back in stock.
   
   
3. Click in the box next to select

Repeat stages 1-3, for all the items you wish to order on that screen, and then click ‘Order Selected Products’. The Shopping Cart will then be displayed showing any items you have selected to order.

Understanding The Shopping Cart

The main Shopping Cart can be used to identify and correct any input errors. Items can be individually removed and the quantity altered from the Shopping Cart before submitting the order. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are correct before proceeding. Shipping costs are not shown at this stage.

The main Shopping Cart automatically displays when all stages under ‘Adding To The Shopping Cart’ have been followed. You can, but do not have to proceed to the Check Out at this stage. You are given the option to Continue Shopping, which if selected should return you to the page you have just come from prior to the shopping cart screen.

To remove any item(s) click in the box to the left of the unwanted product – clicking ‘Recalculate’ will show any items ready for order (including prices), minus the ones you have selected for removal.

To alter the quantity of any item(s) enter the new amount in the box to the right of the product – clicking ‘Recalculate’ will show any items ready for order including the total price.

Another way to view the main Shopping Cart is to click on the ‘View Cart’ option on the left-hand menu. In addition to the main Shopping Cart, a mini Cart is displayed at the top of the screen once items have been selected for order.

If there is a period of inactivity when you do not do anything on the website you may find that your shopping cart has emptied and you have to start again with any order. This has been built in as a security measure.

Check Out Process

Proceed to Check Out by clicking on the ‘Check Out’ option in the main Shopping Cart once you are satisfied the details are correct, or by clicking on the ‘Check Out’ option on the left-hand menu.

At this stage if it is your first time of shopping with Punk & Oi in the UK you will be prompted to register for an account and provide the following information, all of which is compulsry;-

• your name
• postal address (the card holders address and shipping address must be the same)
• home telephone (not mobile)
• date of birth
• e-mail address
• how you heard about us
• Shipping Method

You will also be asked to provide your Website, Work Phone number, Mobile Phone number, Fax and company name, but you can register without providing this.

You have the opportunity to *Save Your Details For Next Time You Login, and the chance to sign up for our Mailing List. Both of these are optional, but will be ticked by default.

*= If you have created an account/used the shop previously on the same computer and you selected the ‘Save Your Details For Next Time’ option, you should find your personal details filled in for you. Details can also be accessed via 'My Account' link at the top of the screen.

The final stage of this screen is to tick the Terms & Conditions box ONCE YOU HAVE READ THEM. Without ticking this box you will not be able to continue.

Shipping Screen

After you have entered your personal details and have agreed to the Terms and Conditions you will be presented with details of the items you are wishing to order, along with the price and shipping amount.

If at this stage you change your mind, there is a Cancel button which is clicked will stop your order from going any further.

If you are happy all the details are correct, and you still want to go ahead, pleaes click Contiune and you will be taken to the Credit Card Payment page.

Payment MethodPage

Payment can either be made securly online via a credit / debit card, or offline by any of the following four methods; -

1. International Money Orders: - International Money Orders (IMO) are only accepted in UK Currency (GBP).
2. Cheques - UK only, must be in UK Currency (GBP). We do not dispatch the goods until the payment has cleared, so cheque orders take a little longer than credit/debit card or cash. Please make payments out to 'Punk & Oi In The UK Limited'
3. Postal Orders - UK only, must be in UK Currency (GBP). We do not dispatch the goods until the payment has cleared, so Postal Orders orders take a little longer than credit/debit card or cash. Please make payments out to 'Punk & Oi In The UK Limited'
4. Cash - We accept UK currency (GBP) only. Cash must be concealed and is sent at your own risk. Punk & Oi In The UK take no responsibility for cash that goes missing and does not arrive. Goods are only dispactached if the cash reaches us.

All transactions are in GBP (£). Send offline order details, including the order number to;- Punk & Oi In The UK, Orders Department, PO box 158, Leeds, LS27 7XP, ENGLAND.

Clicking the Credit Card button takes you to the secure Credit/Debit Payment page, selecting any of the offline methods takes you to the final order details screen.

Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, Solo, Maestro/Switch (UK Only), Visa Debit (UK only) and American Express and all transactions are in GBP (£). At Punk & Oi In The UK, we take security very seriously, and all transactions are handled by a secure server with state-of-the-art encryption and secure HTTPS (HTTP over SSL) server technology. (see Security under the Privacy Policy for further information)

Everytime you place an order you will need to enter your payment method and details. You will be prompted for the following; -

Compulsory for all types of cards

• Card Type
• Card Number
• Name on Card
• Expiry Date mm/yy
• Card Verification Number

Debit/Switch Cards only

• Valid From (Switch) mm/yy
• Card Issue Number
  

Final Screen

The final screen in the order sequence displays all the products, all prices including shipping details, your persononal details. For security reasons it does not include your credit/debit card number, only your method of payment. You will also be given an Order Number and confirmation of our address and contact details. There is link at the top which will take you to ‘print friendly’ version of the page. We recommend you print a copy for your records.

Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Punk & Oi In The UK.

Receipt of payment does not mean that we have accepted an order and we reserve the right to return the payment to you.

How To Register

Registering with us can be done even if you do not wish to place an order and can make your online visits to Punk & Oi In The UK much quicker and easier, and will give you the opportunity to sign-up to receive information on the latest offers and view Wish Lists. To begin the registration process, click on the ‘Register’ option at the top of your screen. You will need to provide us with a user name and a password (min 6 characters). We’ll then ask you to complete some personal details, such as

• your name
• postal address
• home telephone (not mobile)
• date of birth
• e-mail address

You will also be asked to provide your company name, but you can register without providing this.

You have the opportunity to *Save Your Details For Next Time You Login, and the chance to sign up for our Mailing List. Both of these are optional, but will be ticked by default.

‘ My Account’ hyperlink

By registering for an account will allow you to login into ‘My Account’ area, an area set up for you to take charge of your orders and details. My Account gives the following options and privliges:

• Review previous Orders
• Change address Details
• Forgotten Password Request
• Mailing List
• Contact us
• Wishlist

Review previous Orders: It is possible for you to view your previous orders.

Change Address Details: You can access and update the personal details you provided us with when creating your account.

Forgotten Password Request: If you complete your uesr name and email address with details witch match the ones on our database, and click ‘Continue’ your password will be emailed to you.

Mailing List: You can subscrbe to be added to our email list. If you signed up for the email newsletter when setting up for your account you also have the option of selecting ‘Remove From Mailing List’ check box under Mailing List.

Contact us: Fill in a simple form which will the be emailed to us.

Wishlist: You can view items which you have previously earmarked to go in your Wish List. Products are stored in your Wish List for a maximum of 180 days.
