Formed in october 2001, play and gig around brighton and
the south. Line up is....

Why the name Slaughterhouse 57? And what other existing band
names do you like?
Slaughterhouse is self explainatory. the 57 is the 5th
and the 7th letters of the alphabet e and g, the initials of ed gein, the
woman skinner from wisconsin. we're not serial killer nuts, we just have
a soft spot for eddie.
Anal Beard, Rocknocerous, Ten Benson, Dogshit sandwich and Shut Up Grandad.
Has any band member played in other bands, if so what?
H has played with Dr.Brown, Wegg, Nuns On Napalm, Cross
Culture, Caustic Filth, Brett has played with GLM, and Bill is the reincarnation
of both Randy Rhodes and that musher from Lynyrd Skynyrd.
And if you could have anyone (live or dead) join the band
who would it be?

If you were writing a review about the band how would you
describe the band?
Band reviews usually go something like this"God this
lot are shit, I wish they'd crawl back into the shallow end of the genepool
and drown. Bunch of fucking retards should have never picked up instruments
in the first place, Monkeys in clothes!"

We're looking forward to hearing metallica- St.Angerthe new Distillers lp,more
new stuff from Turbo Negro and anything from stoner rock band Bowlrider from
brighton, oh and Aled Jones has just signed a new five album record deal and
Bretts quite excited bout that.
What is the Punk/Oi scene like in your area?
Its quite healthy round here, local bands include Combat
Shock, Beerzone, Two Finger Salute, GLM, Shutup Grandad, Anal beard, MTA,
Flatpig, Hateball, also Buzz at Punker Bunker puts on loadsa gigs.
Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2003.
