If you were writing a review about the Pork Dukes, how would you describe the band?

Horendus:exciting, political - porno punk rockabilly - good time - tongue -in -cheek- up- your -arse music

What is the best gig the Pork Dukes have ever done and who else was on the line-up?

Horendus: We did a great gig with Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Rolling Stones I think were on the undercard that night. Naturally, we blew em off completely, and I do mean blow! Jimi especially came up to me after our set and said, "Horendus - you are the guitarist, I am merely a plucker of strings man! Teach me - show me how you do that stuff - never have I heard a player such as you. Can I pray before the alter of your musicianship?" I helped Jimi up on to his feet and kissed him gently - "of course Jimi," - I said playfully," you may tug on my G string if you like."

If you could take a vocalist, guitarist(s), bassist and drummer from different bands to make your perfect band who would you choose (can be deceased)?

Horendus: Deceased eh? That would be interesting. The smell would probably get to us sooner or later - we used to play with a dead pig's head on stage but deceased musicians? - I ain't never done that before. Anyway - here's my perfect band. Me of course - Vocals - Johnny Rotten, Bass - Ursula Andress [ she can't play bass but has an impressive chest,] drums - Coldstream Guards, and Marvyn the Robot - love the voice.- now there's a gig for ya!

Do you do any covers in your live set, if so what?

Horendus: Get outta here! The Pork Dukes are not a cover band. We are loved by Elton John you know. We are the real thing - all material is entirely written and composed by me and Vilos- if bands could, they would be covering us - all over.

What is the Punk/Oi scene like in your area?

Horendus: Well, the kids are punks believe me and here in sunny Catford we do say 'Oi' now and again.

What question would you like to be asked in interviews, but you are never asked? And what is your answer?

Horendus: I like your style interviewer. How can I give you an answer to a question that hasn't been asked? Interviewers never ask whether I would like to sire some children with them or their spouse - my answer would probably be "leave us your number - please don't call the Fuzz - just when you feel creamy - well give us a buzz!"

Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2001/2002.

Horendus: we have big,big plans for 2001. Unfortunately its January 2002! We'll do some gigs this year,[2002] probably do HITS. 8th we do Army and Navy - end of Feb - Castle Comedy - round and about - Glasgow - Newcastle etc. Nice to do some gigs in the States where we are loved and appreciated for our subtlety, charm and wit. We were going to release our new single - "Save the Pigs - burn the Fuckin Farmers" but its time to move on to another
agenda. Anyone want a new album from us? Let me know - e mail porkdukes@hotmail.com

Any final comments?

Horendus:I'd like to thank my mother, her mother, and my father [and his mother] for making me possible. It was the main contribution they made to world peace and masturbation. Come along to a Pork Dukes gig - buy the t shirt - get the record - hear the music.
