Please give a brief history of the band, including current line up.
Herv: the band really started under the name Gundog in
97. The lads had been playing for quite a while as "the Mighty Mr Men" but
hadn't achieved much really, so we thought it'd be better to come up with
a new name.

Describe your sound.
Brian: Heavy rock, that's it.
James: Rough and ready.
Taz: Fairly aggressive I reckon.
When you toured abroad, what was the reaction like and how
did the audience differ to UK audiences? What country have you enjoyed playing
most?
Brian: France is the best country we've ever played, there
are bigger audiences, more dedication, enthusiasm and they're real to life
as well. And they all sing along, they do know our lyrics...
Taz: The crowd are more enthusiastic in Europe, bigger in numbers and not necessarily
as drunk as the English. They really love it...
Herv: Being French I might be prejudiced on this one...but I reckon that in
France or Germany, people put much more effort into it, they will TRAVEL to
the shows...
Do you think street music will rise again?
James: It will remain at the same level it's always had.
Taz: Seeing the popularity of bands like DK Murphys, yes, it might rise again.
Brian: It's never fallen really, there is and there's always been lots of great
bands around.
What is the first gig each member of the band ever went to?
James: OZZY OZBOURNE, wembley arena, I had a nosebleed
I was so excited...
Brian: Pitch Shifter downstairs at the Dome.
Taz: Anthrax/ST/MOD, Brixton academy in 89
Herv: La Souris Dglingue in France in 86 ... but in England it was Demented
Are Go at the KlubFoot, back in 87.
Who would you most like to be stuck in a lift with and why?
Brian: Wynona Ryder...why? rape and pillage...
Taz: Mariah Carey...why? Sex!
James: Melindah Messenger...why? Essex!
Herv: the queen mother...why? My girlfriend is reading this...
What is the favourite song (and what band is it by) of each
member of the band?
Taz: "Shape of things to come": SLADE
Brian: "Out in the cold": BUSINESS and "Marlon Brando": WARRIORS
James: "In my darkest hour": MEGADETH and most COCK SPARRER's songs.
Herv: "Plus fort que tout": Komintern Sect and probably "Another 1/2 hour until
sunrise" by the TALL BOYS (although any COMBAT 84 tunes would make my day anytime...)
Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2000.
Herv: we record our second full length in February 2000,
then we'll do a mini tour of Ireland, a few gigs in France in March and a
German tour in the springtime to promote the album. There's a big gig lined
up in London (at the garage) on the 30th April 2000 with us, The TEMPLARS,
ON FILE and more... with probably THE BUSINESS headlining. And we'll play
America in the summer....at last!
