Interview

Bouncing Souls
30/11/2003

Please give a brief history of the band, including current line up.

Well it all started almost 4 years ago, and it´s the pete-guitar, the general-bass, mcdermott-drums, and the "G" man on vocals.

Discography.

How is your current tour going? How do the audiences vary from country to country?

Tour is going very well, the crowds differ in only minor ways, like who smokes more, or drinks more, other than that were all the same.

I like the way the band keep in contact with fans in 'Latest Dirt' on the Bouncing Souls website - how important is this level of interaction to the band?

i think it´s really important to know what the "fans" think, they don´t think we can read but oh are they mistaken.

Which has been your favourite release to record and why? And which record label have you enjoyed working with most?

i think it has to be "anchors aweigh" cause it just really sums up the story of the souls to date.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you whilst touring?

so much stuff happens on a day to day basis it´s hard to pinpoint one thing.

You have some great song titles - what is the best song title you have ever come across?

simply titled "the weed song" enough said.

What is the Punk/Oi scene like in your area?

it´s ever growing as this thing we call punk rock continues to thrive.

Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2003/04.

tour, tour, tour

Any final comments?
