Please give a brief history of the band, including current
line up.
Brief would be our Epitaph history so far:
Mid 2001 we released our first Epitaph record called "Covered with Ants" and
our second piece "Gusto" comes out in Aug.2002..so go get it then.
Before that we put out several records on the label Nitro; Full Length, Friendly
People, TeriYakimoto, Musical Monkey, Live from the Pharmacy and Gorgeous....good
luck finding those without being an import, call Nitro and bitch to them. The
line-up now is Mark Adkins, Eric(derek) Davis, Scott Sheldon, Ty Smith and
Clint Wienrich and now is all that matters. Mark, Eric and Scott since 1989,
Ty since 1998 and Clint was the original bass player in 89' and is now back
with us.
Discography.
As above
What is the best gig Guttermouth have ever done and who else
was on the line-up?
We have had several "best gigs" each guy probably
has his one or two most favorite, we play a lot of fuckin' shows and for
a long time now. Some small and some big...Australia has been great lately.
Do you do any covers in your live set, if so what?
Not on purpose.
Do you earn enough from being in the band to make a living
out, if not what jobs do you all do?
We are all in different cover bands ranging from classic
rock to 80's new wave. We all pick up little gigs here and there like weddings
and birthdays, it pays the bills.
Describe punk at the beginning of the 21st century.
Is it the 21st century now?...Punk: P U N K...that's about
it, not much to say about that word.
If you could take a vocalist, guitarist(s), bassist and drummer
from different bands to make your perfect band who would you choose (can
be deceased)?
Fred Schnyder with Dick Dale on guitar, I'll play bass
and Tim Baulch on drums. Look out.
What question would you like to be asked in interviews, but you are never asked?
And what is your answer?
My Spain interview had the same lame question, do you
know each other?
Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2002.
