Please give a brief history of the band, including current
line up.
Billyclub has been around for about 5 years,we formed
in Kenosha WI after our (Karl & Matt)previous band Johny Bravo fell apart. we
have had a few line up changes, but we are now back to the original band,
we have had Terry Bones on Bass and Dave woodard (ex REO Speedealer) on Vocals,we
also had Gregor Kramer(ex UK Subs,Battalion of Saints and the Vibrators)
helping us out when Billyclub first started, he played on the 1st 7"

I (Karl) have played for the Exploited, Broken Bones,
UK Subs and I also play for the Phantom Rockers, Matthew has played for the
UK Subs, Splognesabounds & Battalion of Saints AD, he also plays for the
Phantom Rockers Kurt played for a speed metal band called Wrath who have
several CD's out and have been on MTV (whooa!)
What is the first gig each member of the band ever went to?
(Karl) the Ramones at Manchester Apollo, ( Kurt) Kiss & Judas
Priest, (Matthew) Ian Gillan Band (watching his Dad John McCoy), (Kevin)
Iron Maiden.
What is the best sentence you have ever heard, that someone
has managed to get into a song's lyrics?
rejection never felt so good at first it was unclear
, now so well understood.at first it I dont see it as kind but you did me
a favour when you left me behind. h.Rollins
If Billyclub were a type of alcohol, what drink would they
be and why?
We would be the Kind of Drink that would knock you on
your ass and give you a hellish hangover, because we are a right bunch of
Kunts! I think we would be Everclear grain alcohol, this shit tastes ok with
a mixer but it kicks your ass right in front of your own eyes!
Do you think street music will rise again?
what the fuck is Street Music? the only musicians I see
on the streets are Buskers!
Plans, gigs and releases planned for 2000.
Record and release the next full length CD, do a little
bit of Touring, a lot of drinking, finish the GBH split, watch my wife give
birth to our baby and generally slack off as much as we can!
